SVP Relationship Manager – Middle Marketing Banking Group, Wells Fargo
Kael Peterson is a senior vice president with Wells Fargo’s Specialized Industries Healthcare team. Ms. Peterson is responsible for providing healthcare coverage to Middle Market Banking in the Central Region and is based in Minneapolis, Minn.
Ms. Peterson joined Wells Fargo in 2006, and prior to her current role, she spent 10 years working with the Minneapolis Middle Market Banking team as a senior relationship
manager. Throughout her career at Wells Fargo, she has also had the opportunity to work as a business development officer with Wells Fargo Capital Finance and Wells Fargo
Insurance Services. Prior to Wells Fargo, Ms. Peterson lived and worked in Chicago where she was a credit analyst for Merrill Lynch Business Financial Services and a business
relationship manager for JP Morgan Chase.
In 2002, Ms. Peterson earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
Ms. Peterson is a new board member of YWCA Minneapolis. In February 2021, she was named one of Twin Cities Notable Women in Commercial Banking by Twin Cities Business Magazine. She also volunteers for several organizations including Art Adventure, Alice Smith Elementary School and served as the Chair of the Wells Fargo Community Leadership Academy. Ms. Peterson, her husband, 10-year-old son and Goldendoodle reside in Hopkins, Minn.
