Kim Skanson is the leader of Cencora Business Services, a business function partnering across Cencora to build regionally diverse hubs for shared services operations and to access talent in global markets.
Prior to joining Cencora, Ms. Skanson worked at Cargill, where she led the transformation of one of the largest privately held companies in the U.S. into a modern, agile, centralized organization, with a focus on financial, quality and cultural goals. Prior to that experience, she led IT teams across multiple sectors and with global reach, including Target and Travelers. She is a respected leader in the global business services field. Her experience and leadership will be valuable in further leading the global CBS team members in a matrix way and creating a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Ms. Skanson is an active leader in the community, acting as a mentor and serving numerous non-profit organizations. She is a champion for STEM education and opportunities for women and children, and has served as a board member and advisor for Women Leading in technology and code savvy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management and a Master of Business Administration.
Ms. Skanson and her husband, Cisco, have three sons, Tanner, Sawyer and Ryder. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, playing ice hockey, coaching baseball, and cheering on her boys at their sporting and extracurricular activities.
