Senior Vice President, Treasure, Ameriprise Financial Services
Shweta Jhanji is senior vice president, treasurer of Ameriprise Financial, Inc. Reporting to the chief financial officer, she is responsible for balance sheet risk management, capital and liquidity structure and management, global treasury and cash operations, debt issuance, oversight of rating agency relationships, and the owned investment portfolio management for all legal entities/subsidiaries of the company.
Ms. Jhanji is part of the Finance Leadership Team (FLT), serves as a voting member of key risk committees and an active participant on additional Executive Committees and Ameriprise boards. Before joining Ameriprise, Ms. Jhanji worked at American Express as part of the Global Transformation team and at UTI Bank as a Credit Analyst.
Ms. Jhanji is also a member of the Federal Reserve Insurance Policy Advisory Committee and has been a member of YWCA’s Investment Committee in the past. Ms. Jhanji holds a Bachelor of Economics from Delhi University and Master of Business Administration in finance from S.P.J.I.M.R (among the top 10 programs in Asia). She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder and holds a Series 27 license. Ms. Jhanji and her husband reside in Minnetonka, Minn. with their two children.
