Tami A. Kozikowski

Chief Executive Officer, The Waters Senior Living

 

Tami Kozikowski is the chief executive officer at The Waters. Throughout her 30+ career, she has been called upon to solve complex problems that cross multiple disciplines driving several enterprise-wide transformations resulting in efficiency, significant savings and improved customer experiences.

Most recently, Ms. Kozikowski was an executive vice president/president at Life Time Fitness, responsible first for the growth and development of new Life Time facilities across the country and later for the growth and profitability of its business. Prior to that, Ms. Kozikowski was the executive vice president of development for Advance Auto Parts in Roanoke, VA. In this role, she led multiple functions including real estate, human resources and labor. At both Life Time Fitness and Advance Auto Parts, she was an active member of the CEO team. Ms. Kozikowski also spent 16 years with Best Buy as a senior vice president, leading multiple teams in the real estate, service ops (Geek Squad) and merchandising functions of that $40+ billion company.

Ms. Kozikowski holds a Master of Business Administration in marketing/finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in business/accounting from the University of Minnesota.

She began her career as a certified public accountant in the state of California. She continues to serve on the board of the Life Time Foundation. Ms. Kozikowski resides with her husband and three daughters in Wayzata, Minn.
