Empowering Girls: ASPIRE 2023 Conference
From September 18-21, the heart of downtown Minneapolis witnessed an influx of red as our national partner, Girls Inc., took center stage at their annual conference. ASPIRE, a renowned national conference, brought together thought leaders and influencers, propelling the strategic direction of Girls Inc. into the spotlight and giving more stakeholders a platform to express their thoughts on key matters. Champions and change-makers convened to partake in the essence of face-to-face interactions—deepening relationships, fostering collaboration, brainstorming solutions, and most importantly, engaging in enlightening conversations.
Networking, Collaboration and Celebration
This year’s ASPIRE conference bore the resounding theme, “Powering our People: The Evolution of Girls Inc. Workplace.” It was designed to inspire those individuals deeply committed to creating a workplace that mirrors the transformative experiences Girls Inc. provides for young girls.
As a host site, we proudly showcased the exceptional Girls Inc. programs, including Girls RAP, Out-of-School Time and Eureka! The conference commenced with a heartwarming introduction by Haley, an 11th-grade pilot participant in Eureka!, who shared her personal Girls Inc. journey. She was honored to introduce the Girls Inc. National President, Stephanie Hull, who started the conference.

During the welcome reception Marquita warmly welcomed all attendees, offering insights into the current state of Girls Inc. programs and outlining our ambitious future goals. Claire Allen shared illuminating program-specific highlights, while Niki, a 10th-grade intern in Eureka!, closed the first day of the conference by sharing her inspirational Girls Inc. story.
