Girls Inc. Girls Create PSA Addressing Environmental Pollution

The 4th and 5th grade girls in the Girls Inc. program at Marcy Open School decided to address issues of environmental pollution and degradation by making a Public Service Announcement (PSA) on ways to protect the environment.
Through the use of posters and statistical data, the girls showcased why it’s important for everyone to start protecting the lives of animals and plants today.
Everyday Activities Anyone Can Do
By giving examples of everyday activities everyone can do such as picking up trash, recycling and composting different types of waste, the girls shared a few ways to be Strong, Smart, and BoldTMin their community.
