“My name is Meg Kelly and I have been doing YWCA Women’s Triathlon for the last 10 years. Having done the YWCA Women’s Triathlon 10 times, I have the power to look forward to the absolute best day of the year on an annual basis, where I’m surrounded by amazing women and every year at the end of the race.

I stand and watch the other women come in and I just literally ball because it’s so incredibly beautiful and I see that YWCA allows many women to have the power to do all sorts of things no matter what they’re trying to overcome or no matter what they’re trying to deal with.

When I joined YWCA I had just been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and so I very much was learning all of the things as a diabetic that you can’t control and so for me I have the power to control what I can control by being a member here at YWCA.

So I think one of the things is that YWCA offers is community. I do really love YWCA.”
