Riding your bike is not only one part of a triathlon, but it is also great for commuting, fitness and fun! Keeping a safe and functioning bicycle for years does require a bit of knowledge to ride and maintain.
This class will be led by YWCA Endurance Sports coaches. We will go over light maintenance like cleaning your chain, pumping your tires and changing a flat. Road safety will also be a main topic, covering everything from proper equipment, hand signals and riding etiquette. Finally, we will discuss a few upgrades you can easily do to change your everyday bike into a race-ready machine!
