Push your limits, train harder and discover new ways to work out! YWCA Minneapolis offers a variety of Group Training classes to revitalize your workout routine.

Whether you want to sweat it out with friends at Pilates or train for a 5k, you’ll find a supportive environment and a wide range of fitness opportunities amongst our Group Training programs. Take a peek at what each of our programs has to offer below.

Small Group Training

Get the most out of your time in our state-of-the-art facilities with one of our Small Group Training classes. Led by certified personal trainers and specialty instructors, these sessions allow you to reach your fitness goals in a fun, effective and affordable way. Want to try out a few different classes in order to find your favorite? Get a program pass and drop in — none of our Small Group Training classes require prior registration! And with a variety of classes available, you can try everything from HIIT to hot yoga.

Team Training

Struggling to push past a plateau and reach your fitness goals? Break through your boundaries with YWCA Minneapolis’ Team Training program. These classes can give you a boost — whether you want to increase strength, lose body fat or intensify your workouts. In Team Training, we use a progressive curriculum, with each week’s session building on the previous one. Choose from full body workouts, Pilates classes, 5k training and even cycling workouts done on your own bike! Our team training classes are perfect for members and nonmembers of all fitness levels who want to progress with a like-minded group of focused individuals.

Prime Time Fitness

At YWCA Minneapolis, we’re dedicated to providing high-quality fitness classes to all of our members, regardless of age. Designed for active older adults, our Prime Time Fitness classes incorporate low-impact moves and activities perfect for increasing flexibility, muscular strength, stamina, cardiovascular endurance, balance and range of movement. All of our classes are led by specialty instructors ready to guide you through easy-to-follow sequences. We encourage members and nonmembers of any fitness level to give our Prime Time sessions a try for an invigorating, full-body workout.
