Exciting New Classes Coming Your Way on November 1!
Get ready for a fresh lineup of classes to kickstart your fitness journey this November. We’re bringing back some favorites and introducing some fantastic new ones:
- YWCA Live! Zumba (Back after a hiatus since last Spring) – Dance your way to feeling fantastic with our lively Zumba sessions. These routines incorporate interval-training sessions, blending fast and slow rhythms with resistance training to sculpt your body and nourish your heart. Suitable for all fitness levels, so join us for a joyful workout!
- YWCA Live! Mindful Strength & Yoga (Brand New) – Experience the perfect fusion of strength building and mindfulness in one class. This session begins with accessible strength exercises, utilizing your own body weight, resistance bands, dumbbells, or household items. Then, the second half of the class guides you through low-intensity yoga poses to enhance breathwork, balance, mobility, and flexibility.
- YWCA Live! R.I.P.P.E.D. (Back since last Spring) – It’s time to challenge yourself with this total-body “plateau-proof fitness formula.” This workout combines resistance and bodyweight exercises, providing a thrilling blend of cardio and strength. R.I.P.P.E.D. stands for Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance, and Diet, offering a comprehensive fitness experience. You’ll need a mat or towel, along with light to medium hand weights or resistance bands to participate.

Virtual classes are open to members only; please have your YWCA Minneapolis member ID ready to create a reservation log-in when signing up for the first time. You can make a YWCA Live! virtual class reservation on our website 1 week in advance and up to 15 minutes before the class starts. Upon completing your reservation, you will receive an email with the class link from YWCA Minneapolis (firstname.lastname@example.org).
