Mixed Blood Performance Makes This a Must Year to Attend It's Time to Talk

This year, we are celebrating our tenth year of creating stimulating dialogues on racism in our communities, schools, businesses and other organizations. As my colleague and co-chair Linda Thrasher noted, we are the only forum in the United States that brings more than 1,000 people together to begin this important conversation.This is a "must year" to join us as the cast from renowned Mixed Blood Theatre will perform an original production by Minneapolis playwright Syl Jones, for what will be an an elevating performance experience. Have you ever thought about just who is in the elevator with you and what would happen if you got stuck there together? Well I have, but not the way we will experience. I have had the pleasure of attending many Mixed Blood productions, as well as working with them. I applaud them for the work they do over the years, focusing on the topics of race and diversity in our community.After the production comes your opportunity to participate in thoughtful, engaging table dialogues.
