Nothing But the Best: My Family's Experience with YWCA Child Care
In this blog post, one of our wonderful Early Childhood Education parents, Danielle, tells us about her family's experience with our Early Childhood Education program and how her children have grown.I found out about YWCA's Children's Center at Hubbs Center for Lifelong Learning from an immediate family member. With the ability of grants to help fund some of their cost to participate in the program and the recommendation from a family member, I was interested in starting the program. My children are now 7 and 4 years old and they are both extremely interested in art, fidget toys, music and learning. My 7-year-old attended YWCA's Early Childhood Education program as a preschooler, and my 4-year-old started as an infant and went through preschool age.
Nothing But the Best
My experience with the program has been nothing but the best. The best part for my children and me is that the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. They have a great team of employees who make you feel confident leaving your children with them and my kids adore them. I love that they enjoy playing, but also they learn new things while they are there. Both of my children have grown very fond of the music teacher who visits, too. I love that they treat the children with kindness and if I have any questions or concerns, they are always willing to speak with me.

Growing in Many Ways
The center has helped improve my child’s writing and listening skills. I’m pretty sure the center is responsible for teaching my oldest how to write her name and follow along in read-aloud books at the young age she started. I have seen my children grow in many ways.Learn More About YWCA Child CareSchedule a Visit
