The Nurturing Hearts and Outstanding Care of YWCA's Early Childhood Education

Iyana Galloway is a parent who has enrolled each of her and her husband Tyshawn's six children in YWCA Minneapolis Early Childhood Education program throughout the years. Here, she offers her thoughts on why the program is special and the positive influence YWCA teachers have had on their children.My experience as a parent at YWCA Downtown has been good – I have such a peace of mind in knowing that my children are in the hands of adults I trust to take great care of my children like they are their own.

Individual Attention, Healthy Meals and Open Communication

I appreciate the nurturing hearts of the teachers and the time they take to make sure that each child gets individual attention in addition to the wonderful, yet healthy meals that are provided to the children who attend. YWCA has been instrumental in offering outstanding support with additional needs and has been very open with communication and updates in regards to my child’s learning, growth and development.

Great Relationships with Directors and Teachers

I chose YWCA Minneapolis over other centers because all of my children at one point attended YWCA and I trust no other Early Childhood Education program with my children. My family has built great relationships with the directors and teachers at YWCA and they provide outstanding care to our children. I can go to work knowing that the center has my daughter’s best interest at heart.

Caring, Passionate Teachers

My daughter’s teachers play a very instrumental role in her life since she is with them throughout the majority of the day. There is not much that they do not know about her! Her teachers are caring and are very passionate people who model their love for children. I appreciate every last one of the YWCA teachers who have made a positive impact on my daughter’s life.It has been a pleasure to have all six of my children in YWCA Minneapolis Early Childhood Education programs.
