While we can never bring George Floyd back, we are grateful that the criminal justice system has delivered some measure of justice for George Floyd and his family and friends with its verdict to convict former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.We condemn the continued violence and deaths of people of color in America, including George Floyd, due to police brutality and we believe holding our elected officials and our law enforcement accountable is necessary in this fight for justice.As we continue the work of racial justice and healing, below are some resources you may find helpful in taking care of yourself and loved ones and taking action to demand change.
