YWCA Day on the Hill
Dear Attendees and Friends,
While we were hoping the forecasted rain might melt the snow in time to proceed with YWCA Day on the Hill this afternoon, that was not the case. As a result, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone our Advocacy Day. The safety and well-being of our attendees, volunteers, and staff are our top priority.
We recognize the importance of our YWCA Day on the Hill, as it’s an opportunity for all four Minnesota-based YWCAs – YWCA Minneapolis, YWCA St. Paul, YWCA Duluth and YWCA Mankato – to gather and share updates about our collective and critical work. However, the potential risks outweigh the benefits, and we believe it’s best to reschedule.
In the meantime, please continue to follow our channels for updates and announcements regarding the new date and time.
Thank you for your patience – we appreciate your understanding. Our commitment to our mission of eliminating racism; empowering women and girls; and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for remains throughout all we do. We look forward to the weather improving so we can promote our mission together.

Join all YWCAs in the State of Minnesota (Minneapolis, St. Paul, Duluth and Mankato) at the Minnesota State Capitol to uplift YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism, empowering women and girls, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. YWCA Day on the Hill is an impactful day where you have an opportunity to hear from leaders and legislators, meet with policymakers, encourage forward movement, and show appreciation.
Schedule of events:
1:00 - 1:15 pm Check-In, Cass Gilbert Library Room 317A, Capitol Conference Rooms, Minnesota State Capitol Bldg.
1:15 - 1:30 pm Walk over to the State Capitol Rotunda.
1:30 - 2:00 pm Rally in the Rotunda.
2:00 - 4:00 pm Meetings with State Legislatures.
