Insurance Reimbursement
Get reimbursed for working out!
Work out and save! YWCA Minneapolis partners with several insurance programs to offer discounts, reimbursements or even free memberships to their subscribers. Each program is different, and who is covered may vary.
To verify that your individual coverage qualifies, please call the phone number on the back of your health insurance card to receive your program Fitness ID or Confirmation Code; this information will be required to enroll in membership.
Once you have verified eligibility, bring your medical insurance card, program Fitness ID or Confirmation Code to your YWCA location to get started, or complete the forms below and submit them.

How do my visits get recorded?
Every time you visit the fitness facility, make sure and check in. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of your work out visits are recorded.
When will I receive my credit?
There is a two-month waiting period before the completed months credit will be applied to your membership account (e.g. a credit for visits made in January will be applied toward March membership dues).
Want your credits deposited directly in to your bank account? Sign up with NICHA, the National Independent Health Club Association, our partner for processing insurance reimbursement credits, and receive your money directly. Learn more.
What happens to my credits if I cancel my fitness membership?
Canceling your membership will result in the forfeiture of any unapplied credits.
