New Year Fitness Offer
To make it easy for you to meet your health goals, we have a special New Year Fitness Offer. Join by the end of the year, and you pay a $50 joiner’s fee and no dues until February. After that, monthly dues are $75 for a single adult membership, $122 for two adults or $138 for two adults and children. Learn more about membership rates.
Fitness Memberships in Minneapolis for All Skill Levels
YWCA Minneapolis is a great place to start your fitness journey. We offer much more than an affordable gym membership. We combine state-of-the-art amenities with a friendly, inclusive environment. Depending on your current activity level, here are some great places to start:
Absolute Beginner
If you’ve never used a fitness membership at a gym, rec center or community center, it can be hard to know where to start. Here are some ways to get started:
Indoor Walking Track – focus on creating a routine. Walk for a set period on certain days. If you use a fitbit or fitness tracker, recording your steps is a great way to get started.
Light Cardio – if walking isn’t your thing, you can try some light cardio on an exercise bike or elliptical machine. Start small, like five minutes per session for three days a week and gradually increase the duration over time.
Water Fitness – Our water fitness classes are an effective way to build strength and improve cardio. Instructors include multiple options so you can find the challenge that’s right for you. Learn More about Group Fitness Classes
Pickleball – We offer drop-in pickleball on Tuesdays and Fridays. We use a rotation system so everyone at every level has the opportunity to play. Learn more about Pickleball.

If your goal is to get back into a fitness routine or really focus on a training plan, we offer many ways to meet your health goals.
Weight Training and Fitness Center – Already have a training plan? Great! Our free weights and fitness center have all the tools you need for a variety of workouts.

Sports Leagues – We offer fun, empowering women’s basketball leagues for all ages and skill levels. We offer competitive A and B divisions for experienced ballers and C and Silver Sneaker divisions for more casual players. Learn more about our basketball leagues.
