Hornbills Flag Football Team at the Hmong International Academy Receives Breaking Barriers Award

YWCA of Minneapolis Hornbills Flag Football Team at the Hmong International Academy (HIA) is one of 22 athletes and sports leaders to be recognized as part of the Minnesota Girls and Women In Sports Day rally on Wednesday, February 3 at the Minnesota History Center. Hornbills Flag Football Team will be honored with a Breaking Barriers Award, for allowing middle school girls to learn and play the sport alongside boys.
