YWCA Minneapolis Opens New Early Learning Center in South Minneapolis

(Minneapolis, Minn.) YWCA Minneapolis is excited to announce the Grand Opening celebration of our new Early Childhood Education Center – YWCA Children’s Center South Minneapolis – on July 18.
Children are the future, and our mission to improve the world by eliminating racism and empowering women and girls begins with the littlest ones in our community. We’re proud to provide full-time child care programs built around our anti-bias curriculum that teaches children to foster strong relationships and respect diverse points of view. We prepare children for kindergarten and to be lifelong learners.
Our new location — YWCA Children's Center South Minneapolis — allows us to continue to meet the child care and early learning needs of our community; and offers many features and benefits we can’t wait to show you, including bright classrooms, indoor and outdoor play spaces and convenient parking!
Our new location in Lutheran Social Service Center for Changing Lives is also perfectly aligned with the mission of YWCA Minneapolis. The Center for Changing Lives provides health and human services, as well as affordable housing for children, adults and families of the greater Minneapolis and Phillips Park neighborhood.
We are excited to be a part of this vital community and look forward to showing you around our new Children's Center South Minneapolis on July 18! Join us for a tour, remarks from leaders and light refreshments.
