Join the Next World AIDS Day Ride

YWCA Minneapolis joins in the recognition of World AIDS Day, an international day of health, with a very special two-hour cycle class at YWCA Uptown. The World AIDS Day ride is a part of our partnership with Red Ribbon Ride of Minnesota, and an opportunity to raise awareness about local organizations working hard to support people living with AIDS and HIV in our community.

YWCA Cycle Instructor Joe Ede has led this ride for the past seven years and continues to inspire us all to get on our bikes and ride in support of people living with HIV and commemorate those who have died. From the beginning, the very first ride with Joe in 2009 was packed, without a single extra bike to spare. The following year, additional two-hour rides were added throughout the winter months and attracted YWCA members and their guests as well as riders of the Red Ribbon Ride. The two-hour indoor cycle ride is a great way to connect with others in the community and share in the impact of World AIDS Day and the continued fight against AIDS.
