Fox 9 News Visits YWCA Minneapolis to Cover Children's March and Interview CEO Luz María Frías

Wednesday, March 8 was both International Women’s Day and a national “Day Without A Woman." More than 100 children, teachers, staff and parents marched indoors at their Early Childhood Education centers to recognize the enormous value that women of all backgrounds add to our socio-economic system--while receiving lower wages and experiencing greater inequities, vulnerability to discrimination, sexual harassment, and job insecurity.Fox 9 News was covering participation across the state of Minnesota for the "Day Without A Woman" strike and International Women's Day.
