YWCA Welcomes Kari Clark as Chief Development Officer

YWCA Minneapolis is pleased to announce the hire of Kari L. Clark as its new Chief Development Officer. Kari began her new role on November 27 and comes to YWCA Minneapolis with a breadth of varied development experiences, strong communication skills and dedicated drive. With 20 years’ experience in the field of Development, Kari started her career in a leadership position as an Associate Director of Planned & Endowed Gifts with The Foundation for Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. At Children’s, Kari dedicated her time to championing the health and wellness of children and families. Following Children’s, Kari worked for Gustavus Adolphus College for the past 11 years, first as their Director of Gift Planning, eventually moving into a Director of Principal Gifts position.As a strategic leader with industry-recognized communications and donor relations skills, Kari’s development experience spans a coalition of non-profit, health care and education organizations. Kari is a proud member of the Minnesota Planned Giving Council and a Board Member with Dress for Success - Twin Cities.Kari graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with a B.A. and obtained her J.D. from Mitchell/Hamline College of Law. Kari was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar in October of 1995.
